Donald I. Barror

BARROR, Donald I. – of Brant Twp. died Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He was 82 years of age.

Don was born in Saginaw County on May 10, 1943, to the late Francis and Mary (Noyce) Barror and was a lifelong resident of the Chesaning area. He was a 1962 graduate of Chesaning Union High School. He was united in marriage to Barbara Miller on March 14, 1964 at Brady Wesleyan Church. Mr. Barror worked in construction then for Farmer Peet for many years, then Maurell Products making pontoon boats. He had been attending Oakley Community Church. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by: sons: Michael (Tamara) Barror of Chesaning, Brian (Amy) Barror of Owosso; former son-in-law, Todd (Julie) Vondrasek of Grand Blanc; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings: Sharon Zoellner of Chesaning, Carol (Karl) Zoellner of Brant, Dale (Rose) Barror of Owosso, Edward (Darlene) Barror of Montrose, Arnold Barror of Indianapolis, IN, Minnie Passmore of Burt; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was also preceded in death by: wife, Barbara Barror in 2020; daughter, Rebecca Vondrasek in 2018; granddaughter, Alycia Smith in 2022; and brother, James Barror in 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 6 pm Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Pastor Cal Emerson officiating. Visitation will be from 2pm Monday until time of services at 6 pm. Inurnment will be in Brant Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be made to the family. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
