Don Anderson Obituary
ANDERSON, Don K. – of Chesaning, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at The Meadows in Corunna. He was 79 years of age.
Don was born March 9, 1941 in Owosso to the late Verne and Gladys (Bennett) Anderson. He was a 1960 graduate of Chesaning Union Schools and a resident of Chesaning his entire life. He was united in marriage to Joyce LaMott. She preceded him in death on May 13, 2009. Mr. Anderson was employed at Peet's Packing for 30 years then Morel for 13 years. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling. He collected old photos and played fast pitch softball.
Surviving are: children: Dawn Cooper of CA, Donna Holladay of NV, Gary (Mary Ann) Cibula of Oxford, William (Theresa) Frelitz of Chesaning, Kathy (Mark) Waligorski of Lansing; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Anderson; a sister, Doreen Brown; and a son, Ricky Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 2-7 P.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Misiuk Funeral home in Chesaning. Private funeral services will be held later. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Following Covid-19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the funeral home. Currently funeral homes are limited to 25 people.
