STAHLER, David Richard “Dave” – of Chesaning, died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 peacefully at Covenant Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was 62 years of age.
Dave was born April 29, 1958 in Highland Park, MI to the late Richard and Donna (McShirley) Stahler. He was united in marriage to Mary Strother on November 12, 1991. He was employed by GM-Delphi for 30 years. He was a member of the UAW Local # 467 and was a volunteer firefighter in Chesaning for many years. During his life he enjoyed football, family trips, coaching sports for the youth, camping, fishing, crossword puzzles, watching TV, cooking, cracking jokes and making everyone laugh no matter the circumstances.
Surviving are: his wife, Mary; children: Sheila (Marvin Sr.) Motley of Montrose, Marijo (Erick) Gillham of Freeland, Jeremy Stahler of Chesaning; grandchildren: Sierrah Gillham, Ayden Gillham, Gavin Gillham, Bailee Gillham, Peyton Gillham, Haevyn Gillham, Marvin Motely Jr. and Marrion Motley; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: his brother Steven Stahler; and his sister Shelly Murphy. He was beloved by many and will be forever missed.
