Daniel J. Amman Obituary
AMMAN, Daniel J. – of Traverse City, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home. He was 64 years of age.
Daniel was born in Owosso on June 16, 1959, to James and Doris (Wendling) Amman. He was a 1977 graduate of Chesaning High School and was employed as an auto body repairman. He enjoyed hunting and carpentry. Daniel remodeled his home and built cabinets and furniture. He also restored his AMX along with other cars. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife, Kelly; daughters, Sarah and Danielle and their mother, Marge; grandchildren: Christian, Logan, and Hunter; mother, Doris Amman of Chesaning; siblings: Dennis Amman of Chesaning, Donna (Dennis) Kligar of Chesaning, Doreen Kukulis (companion Randy Schmitzer) of Flint, Dwayne Amman (companion Renee Kulhanek) of St. Charles, David Amman of Chesaning, and Martin Buckland of Dowagiac; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Jessye Amman; and his father, James Amman.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Contributions in memory of Dan may be given to the family to cover funeral expenses. Checks can be mailed to his daughter, Sarah Amman, at 2899 Five Mile Road, Traverse City, MI 49684.
