Daniel G. Trevino

TREVINO, Daniel G. – of Chesaning, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Owosso Memorial with his family by his side.

Daniel was born February 27, 1952, in Mathis, TX to the late Domingo and Anita (Garza) Trevino and was a resident of Chesaning most of his life. He was united in marriage to Micaela Compian on February 17, 1969. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, going to the casino, watching his sons playing softball and followed them religiously. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daniel would always be the first to call to check in and always had a good story to make you laugh.

Surviving are: wife of 52 years, Micaela; children: Danny Trevino Jr. (Marion Joseph) of Mt. Pleasant, Trina (Steve) Castanon of Chesaning, Marcos (Danielle) Trevino of Chesaning; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Anita (Efrian) Rodriguez of Oakley; brother, David Trevino (Sylvia Vasquez) of Chesaning; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, George Trevino, and a brother, Domingo Trevino, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Rev. Jose Rodriguez officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at 6 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
