Connie R."Concha" Blakeslee-Perez

BLAKESLEE-PEREZ, Connie R. “Concha” – of Chesaning, died Monday, November 30, 2020. She was 68 years of age.

Connie was born April 18, 1952 in Saginaw to the late Raymond and Theresa (Smith) Blakeslee and was a resident of Chesaning most of her life. She was united in marriage to Jose Perez on September 22, 1978. Connie enjoyed crafting and baking.

Surviving are: husband Jose “Kiko”; children: Noemi Perez of TX, Jose Jr. (Shonney) Perez of Corunna, Juan (Christy) Perez of TX, Anna Liza Puroll of Flint, Joshua (Mickaela) Perez of Chesaning; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister Lorraine Rosencrans of Chesaning; sister in law Margaret Blakeslee of Reed City; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by: grandson Miguel Mata Jr.; brothers and sisters: Byron “Butch” Blakeslee, Maxine Blakeslee, Merle “Sonny” Blakeslee, William Blakeslee, Mary Ann Clarambeau, Judith Lepeak and Brenda Wagner.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at 2 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the family or Jakob’s Journey. Following Covid 19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the funeral home. Currently funeral homes are limited to 25 people.
