Carol J. (Brenner) Cermak

CERMAK, Carol J. – of Brady Twp. died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Owosso Memorial Healthcare. She was 78 years of age.

Carol was born September 2, 1942 in Brady Twp. to the late Robert and Doris (Smith) Brenner and was a lifelong resident of Brady Twp. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, taking care of her flower gardens, having coffee with friends, and keeping up her house that she was proud of. In the days when CB radios were popular, Carol spent much time with her friends on the CB. 

Surviving are: daughter, Stephanie Chludil of Chesaning; son in law, Dan Steck of Lennon; grandchildren: William (Tashia) Chunko Jr., Jeremy Cermak, Kevin (Danielle) Cermak, Morgan Cermak, Kayser Steck, Kyle Steck, Brandon Chludil (companion Arica Gehringer), Zachary Chludil and Alyssa Steck; great grandchildren: Triniti Chunko, Liam Chunko, Leo Cermak and Nathaniel Cermak; sisters: Beverly Brenner of Oakley, Peggy (Paul) Davis of Corunna; sister in law, Janet Brenner of Oakley; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Joseph Cermak and Guido Van Welsenaers; son, Joseph Cermak; daughter, Debbie Steck; granddaughter, Victoria Steck; and a brother, George Brenner.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. Inurnment will be in Ridge Road Cemetery at a later date. Contributions in her memory may be made to the family. Following Covid-19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing will be followed at the funeral  home. Currently funeral homes are limited to 25 people. Please keep your visits brief to allow everyone  a chance to pay respects and give condolences to the family.
