Brenda Lee Wakefield

WAKEFIELD, Brenda Lee – of Marion Twp., died Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at her residence. She was 68 years of age.

Brenda was born February 7, 1957, in Carson City and was the daughter of Frederick and Burnice (Albring) Nichols. She was a resident of the Chesaning area most of her life. She enjoyed being in the country, animals, playing games, singing Karaoke and especially being with family.

Surviving are: daughter, DeNae Coates (companion Dwayne) of Ecorse; son, James (Faullon) Wakefield of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren: Kathryn, Kimberly, Desiree, Alyssa, LeLand, and Riley; a great grandson, Axel Lee; sisters: Debra (Roy) Robinson, Mary Garcia, both of Scottsville, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Barbara Behrens; and a brother, Harold “Chuck” Wakefield.
