Brenda Ann (Loachridge) Spolarich

SPOLARICH, Brenda Ann – of St. Charles Twp., died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at her residence. She was 82 years of age.

Brenda was born May 24, 1942, in Omer, MI to the late William and Eveline (Bly) Loachridge. She was a graduate of St. Charles High School in 1960 and earned her Accounting Degree from Saginaw Business Institute. She was united in marriage to LaVern Spolarich on August 11, 1962, and resided in the St. Charles and Chesaning areas her entire life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Charles, and American Legion Post #212 Ladies Auxiliary in Chesaning. Brenda was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking (known for her pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other goodies), sewing, watching Hallmark movies and westerns.

Surviving are: husband, LaVern; children: Mike Spolarich of Chesaning, Mark (Paula) Spolarich of IL, Michelle Spolarich of Chesaning, Michel (Heather) Petiot of NC; special friend who was like a son, Douglas Alcorn of Chesaning; grandchildren: Kimberly, Justin, and Tyler Spolarich, Jeannine, Amariah and Jonathan Petiot; great-grandchildren: Kady Johnson, Skylar and Oliver Nazarovech, Tristan, William and Eadaoin Spolarich, Nyela and Nyelanie Petiot; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: sisters: Marian and Bill Fuller, Nancy and Dick Streeter, Sandie and John Fedder; niece, Deanna Hamelink; great nephew, Charles Waswick; brother-in-law, Ervin Spolarich; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Lucille Spolarich; stepfather, Robert Knowels; and stepbrother, Larry Knowels.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, May 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 130 East Clinton Street, Saint Charles. Pastor Bob Metevia officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, St. Charles. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 pm at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning and at the church on Friday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am.
