CARTER, Beverly Jean – of Chesaning, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at My Michigan Medical Center in Saginaw. She was 83 years of age.
Beverly was born on May 27, 1942, in Brant, MI to the late Harry and Mildred (Kubik) Hunt and was a resident of the Chesaning area her entire life. She was a 1960 graduate of Chesaning Union High School and was united in marriage to Larry Carter on May 20, 1961. Beverly enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, camping, traveling with the motorhome and wintering in Texas. She especially enjoyed being with her family: children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: husband, Larry; children: Larry (Mary) Carter Jr. of Montrose, Terry (Ronda) Carter of Chesaning, Lisa Carter of Saginaw; grandchildren: Kimberly (Paul) Carter-Hemminger of Saginaw, Joshua (Maeva) Hunt of Chesaning, Eric Carter of Montrose, James Carter of Mt. Pleasant, Zachary Carter (Belle) of Chesaning, and Cory Carter of Montrose; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Sandy (Jim) Thomas of Chesaning and Harrietta Cherwinski also of Chesaning; nieces and nephews. A sister, Linda Hogue, also preceded her in death.
