Andrew Paul Gross Obituary
GROSS, Andrew Paul “Drew” – of Chesaning passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. He was 27 years of age.
Andrew was born in Flint on April 23, 1999, the son of Paul and Kimberly (Spaulding) Gross. Drew lived his entire life in Chesaning. He was a graduate of Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 2017. He had attended college at Delta Community College and then later, he went to 360 Trucking School. He attended the New Lothrop Nazarene Church and the Life in Christ Church in Owosso.
Drew was kind hearted and enjoyed spending time with animals, especially cats. He liked the outdoors and enjoyed mountain-biking on the trails and kayaking.
Drew is survived by his parents, Paul and Kimberly Gross and his sisters, Kristen (Mike) Filthaut and Shelby Gross, all of Chesaning; nieces and nephews, Rosaleigh and MJ Filthaut, Everett Gross, and Marceline Humphrey; his grandparents, Joyce Gross of Chesaning and Charles and Kay Spaulding of Durand; many aunts and uncles; and other loving family and friends. He was recently preceded in death by a grandfather, Larry Gross.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Life in Christ Church, 1019 East Oliver Street, Owosso. Pastor Eric Numerich will officiate. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Chesaning. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning and then Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service.
