Amber Nicole Damic of Oakley, age 31, passed away early Thursday morning, January 14, 2021, at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Amber was born in Lansing on June 13, 1989. She was a longtime resident of Oakley. She graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 2008. She had attended Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of St. Charles. Amber enjoyed listening to Alice Cooper, making bracelets, spending time with her cocker spaniel, Zayn, and traveling.
It was mom’s devotion and love for her daughter that gave Amber 31 beautiful years creating the best memories.
Those left to cherish Amber’s memory include her mother, Pamela of Oakley; grandmother, Evelyn Damic Chesaning; uncle, Kevin Damic of San Antonio, Florida; special cousins, Lindsey Damic of Chicago and Jordan Damic of Grand Rapids; godfather, Lawrence Damic of Grayling; godmother, Deb Delong of Chesaning; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Frank and Mary Damic; and great-uncles, John Damic and Frank and his wife, Carol, Damic.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of the memorial service. If desired, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
Following Covid-19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the funeral home. Currently funeral homes are limited to 25 people.
