SMITH, Alycia Marie (Vondrasek) – died Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her residence. She was 32 years of age.
Alycia was born June 9, 1989, in Saginaw to Todd and Rebecca (Barror) Vondrasek. She was a 2007 graduate of Chesaning Union School. She was a Saginaw resident since 2014. Alycia was united in marriage to Erik Smith on October 7, 2017, in Auburn. Alycia was always a caring person who cared for others and worked for in-home health care services. She most recently was employed for Comfort Keepers. She enjoyed reading, traveling, hiking, loved giving of herself, taking care of others and even giving blood at Red Cross.
Surviving are: husband, Erik; her fur family: Romeo the cat and Molly the dog; father, Todd Vondrasek (companion Julie Fikes) of Ortonville; grandfather, Donald Barror of Chesaning; brother, Alec (Carolina) Vondrasek of Chicago, IL; mother-in-law, Cathy Smith of Bridgeport; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Dustin) Turner of Burt; and God son, Logan Turner of Burt. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Rebecca Vondrasek on April 27, 2018; and her father-in-law, Dale Smith on October 20, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Rev. Janine Plum officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 3-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. In Honor of Alycia, please wear playful colors.
