Passed away early Sunday morning, March 26, 2017, at Covenant HealthCare of Saginaw. He was 77 years old. A memorial service and dinner will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Brant Twp. Hall, 11012 S. Hemlock Road, Brant. Pastor John Poling will officiate.
William was born in Niles, Michigan on July 3, 1939, the son of William Ray, Sr. and Ruby May (Chapman) Hicks. Bill was an auto salvage worker.
Those left to mourn his loss include his daughter, Reena (Don) O’Dell of Brant; two grandchildren, D.J. and Derrek; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dan (Linda) Hicks of Chesaning and Dick Hicks of Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. Those who have passed before include his parents; a sister, Bev; and a brother, Dennis.
