Farewell my brother and I truly mean my brother. We met at MSU in 1968 and lived together on several occasions. We shared many good times (and misadventures) over the years and always got together when I’d get back to Owosso. He was a gifted singer and guitarist and we must have spent hundreds of hours jamming together. I will miss you my close friend of 50 years. I bet you and Cousin Mike are hanging out even now. Have one on me.

To the entire Rupple family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Tim was this then 10-year-old's embodiment of what I thought cool was on our trips to see Grandpa and Grandma Mahoney in the early 1960s, as you showed me the ropes around Chesaning, Showboat, the public pool, A&W, Ben Franklin, walking across the guardrail on the bridge over the Shiawassee on Broad Street, the old Nietling store and countless other memories. Say hello to Mike, Aunt Mary, Uncle Eddie, my mother (Eleanor Mahoney), Tom, Larry, Denny and Joe for me. God bless you cuz and take flight young man.
