Samuel Zambori Obituary

Samuel Zambori of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and formerly of Chesaning, age 93, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 in Ohio.  He was born September 2, 1925 in Durand, a son of the late Paul and Julia Zambori.  Samuel was united in marriage to Wilma A. Thomas on July 19, 1947.  They were married for over 58 years before she preceded him in death on October 20, 2005.
 
Samuel was a proud US Navy Veteran, having served during World War II.  He had worked for over 30 years at Buick Motor Division before retiring in 1976.
 
Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, Samuel and wife Nora Zambori of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Nancy and husband Tom Shires of Curran, MI, and Ronald and wife Nickie Zambori of West Bloomfield, MI; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his sister, Goldie Hauko; many nieces and nephews.  Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; four sisters; and his beloved wife, Wilma.
 
Pastor Alan Wright will officiate at his memorial service that will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.  His family will be present at the funeral home to greet relatives and friends from Noon Friday until time of the memorial service.
