Ruth Ann (Canze) Bleisner

Ruth Ann Bleisner of Chesaning, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw.  She was 79 years of age.

Ruth was born to Stanley and Beatrice (Farlow) Canze on September 23, 1939 in Owosso.  She was a resident of Chesaning her entire life.  Ruth was united in marriage to her love, William George Bleisner  on July 26, 1958. They enjoyed 60 years of wedded bliss before Bill preceded her in death on March 28, 2019.

Ruth enjoyed her children and especially those grandchildren.  She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chesaning.  She was their choir organist and volunteered to read at the school.  She also made costumes for the school plays.  Ruth and Bill enjoyed watching freighters on the Great Lakes, visiting lighthouses, and camping.  She was a long time Tigers fan.

Surviving are five children, Mark (Chris) Bleisner of Chesaning, Marilyn (Michael) Boye of Milwaukee, WI, Michael (Jamie) Bleisner of Chesaning, Lisa (Dan) Brown of Chesaning and Eric (Tammie) Bleisner of Shakopee, MN; 12 grandchildren, Adam Bleisner, Jessica (Brandon) Nixon, Andrew Bleisner, Matthew Boye,  Melissa (Jacob) Gennrich, Jacob Bleisner, Mindy Bleisner, Alyse Bleisner, D.J. Brown, Jenna Brown, Jared Brown and Taylor Bleisner; 12 great grandchildren, Joshua,Trevor, Zachary and Miranda Nixon, Blake, Brent, Bryce and Braelyn Bleisner, Isabella and Aubrey Gennrich, Keegan Kelley and Emery Bleisner; her siblings, Gerald (Shirley) Canze of Chesaning, Albert (Laurie) Canze of Chapin, Betty (Doug) Osmer of Henderson, and George (Lenore) Canze of Owosso; special aunts, Esther Blondin of Hubbard Lake and Alice Coleman of Owosso; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene Canze and an infant brother.

Pastor Allen Lindke will officiate the funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chesaning. Burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Thursday from 1-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Zion Lutheran Church and School.
