Schonfeld, Pamela Ann – of Chesaning, age 58, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Hospice House of Shiawassee after losing a battle to cancer.
Pam was born August 11, 1959 in Saginaw to the late Bernard and Margaret (Benkert) Fedewa and was a resident of the St. Charles and Chesaning areas her entire life. She was a 1978 graduate of St. Charles High School. She married Michael Schonfeld on August 13, 2012. Pam was employed for the Eaton Corporation for over 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, making hook rugs, watching tv, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and word search puzzles. Pam enjoyed being a grandmother by reading fairytales to her granddaughter and bringing her surprises.
She is survived by: Husband, Michael; Daughter, Shawna Fedewa (companion Shane Ruyts) of Saginaw; Granddaughter, Riley Ruyts; Siblings: Nancy Bernhardt of Philadelphia, PA, Robert (Rose) Fedewa of St. Charles, Deborah (Thomas) Whilden of Traverse City, Patricia (James) Gale of St. Charles; Nieces and Nephews: Brenda (Stan) Singell, Nicole (Rick) Barrick, Michael (LeeAnne) Whilden, Stacy (Bill) Brown, Jennifer Fedewa (companion, Fletch), Carrie (Jason) Haas, Sarah (Caleb) Johnston, and Elizabeth Gale (companion Jeremy Fagan). She was also preceded in death by two nieces, Charlotte Krenz and Kristie Stafford.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI was held. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
