Norman L. Kramer of Chesaning Twp., age 71, passed away Wednesday morning, May 9, 2018, at his home. His family will be present at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning to greet relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018. Cremation will follow.
Norman was born in Saginaw on September 28, 1946, a son of the late Ernest and Lavina (Bronson) Kramer. Norman has lived in Chesaning most of his life. He married Jane Vogelaar on August 2, 1969. Norman had worked at St. Charles Hardwoods for many years. He retired in 1998.
Mr. Kramer was active in the Chesaning Lions Club for many years. He had volunteered as a Showboat car lot attendant. He enjoyed fishing and loved his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of over 48 years, Jane; their children, Dean (Becki) Kramer of Brant, Jodi (Joe) Wille of St. Charles, and Brian (Tina) Kramer of Chesaning; his dear grandchildren, Brandy, MaKayla, Casey, Haylee, Emily, and Ayden; his siblings, Karen (Art) Krull of Cadillac, Roger (Barbara) Kramer of Mecosta, George Kramer of Chesaning, Leaffa Milewski of Warren, and Mark Kramer of Remus: sister-in-law, Betty Kramer of Harrison; brother-in-law, Joe Gracious of Midland; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earnest E. Kramer; sister, Sharon Gracious; and a granddaughter, Dominique Jo Kramer, who passed away on July 24, 2009.
