I haven't seen Mary Sue or talked to her for many, many years but I do have fond and fun memories of she and I growing up in Chesaning. One of those being, building and decorating a float in their garage! We made so many of those tissue flowers ! I don't think I will ever forget how to make them now! Thank you for the memories Mary Sue and God bless you and your family.

I am so sorry Jerry. I always thought I would catch up with her on one of my trips home but as it goes, I took time for granted. I have such fond memories of the many times we stayed at each others houses when we were just little ones and the warm friendship as we passed through the years at Our Lady. Take care of yourself during this rough time.

Dear Stover Family and Mary Sue's siblings, I am so sorry to see she has passed away. Even though I have not been able to stay in contact with her I cherished any and all information I could get on my cousin and her family. I am a daughter of Charles & Bea Maike and would love to hear more about her. My heart goes out to all of you and I'll pray that God gives you strength through this sad time. There were 10 of us children and we have lost our parents and two siblings, Charles at 77 yrs in 2014 and Katherine at 80 yrs in 2015. I know what a void it leaves in the family circle when you loose one so dear. God Bless all of you, Janet Maike Hawblitzel

I would like to offer my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your loved one. I hope that you will find comfort in the words at John 5:28,29 where we are promised that the day is coming when there is going to be a resurrection of those who have died. Until then, it is just as though they are sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May you draw strength from "the God of all Comfort". (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

My most heartfelt sympathy to your family on the passing of your beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She touched my life in many ways and I will always treasure our friendship. She was there for me when I had to learn how to teach the grade she had taught the years before. She mentored me through that tough year. And she was there for me when our son passed away in 2003. She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. I enjoyed working with her both at Ben Franklin and at school. I think we were even roommates one summer at CMU. May the God of peace surround you with His love during this most difficult time.

Dear Jerry, Molly, Josh and Grace,
My heart is heavy from today's news of Mary Sue's passing, but I am sure it is not heavier than yours at the loss of your dear wife and mother. Keep your memories close and she will live on through you. I will remember our childhood "cousin visits" to each other's houses, and how vibrant a girl she was. I still have the ceramic figures we made at one of our summer classes in Chesaning way back when. I will remember all the milestone family events and good times we shared. I will remember her delightful laugh.
Dan and I send our love. XOXO
