Age 65, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Chesaning Nursing Care Center in Chesaning, MI. Marsha was born on September 3, 1951, the daughter of Marcel and Doris (Price) Maslowski. Marsha graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw in 1969. On November 10, 1973, she married Richard Daniel Goward. Together they had three children. She was a homemaker until 1999, when she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. She worked for several years as a substitute teacher for Chesaning Union Schools and worked summers at Hehr Glass. Marsha was a kind, joyful soul who enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, writing, taking long walks, working with her students, and spending time with her grandchildren.

 

Marsha is survived by her children and children-in-law, Joy (Goward) and James McConnell of Oakley, Rick and Andrea (Schoch) Goward of Chesaning, Beau Goward and Holly Kuchar of Chesaning; her grand-children, Jimmy and Emily McConnell of Oakley; her siblings, Paul Maslowski of Saginaw, Steve (Teri) Maslowski of St. Charles, and Guy (Bonnie) Maslowski of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, Marcel and Doris Maslowski; her sister, Delores (Maslowski) Maier; her brother, David Maslowski; her nephew, Paul Maslowski II; and her nephew James Maier.

 

A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
