Juan Felipe "John" Rodriguez

RODRIGUEZ, Juan Felipe “John” – of Chesaning, died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sparrow Medical Center in Lansing. He was 69 years of age.

John was born July 10, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Reynaldo and Rosalia (Flores) Rodriguez Sr. He was a resident of Chesaning and Oakley his entire life. John was a graduate of Chesaning Schools. He retired from Lear Corp. in 2005. John enjoyed sports especially basketball.

Surviving are: children: John (Cari) Rodriguez of Chesaning, Ida Rodriguez (fiancé Kevin) of OH, Phillip “Joe” Rodriguez (Jamie) of Chesaning; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Lydia Gatica, Robert (JoAnn) Rodriguez, Maria Clark, Miguel (Mary) Rodriguez, Ramiro Rodriguez, Jose (Helen) Rodriguez; 2 sisters-in-law, Darlene Rodriguez and Shelly Rodriguez; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Reynaldo Jr and Reyes Rodriguez.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Dr. John Miller officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
