Passed away Saturday evening, September 2, 2017, age 45, at his home.  Cremation has taken place.  No services are planned at this time.

John was born Roland Junior Gates on August 13, 1972 in Farmington, Michigan. He graduated from Standish-Sterling High School. He is survived by his 4 sisters,1 brother, nieces and nephews and his dear friend and  companion Gary Fall.
