Janet Lee Terry of Roscommon, formerly of Chesaning, age 72, passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017, at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Ohio on September 14, 1945, the daughter of Glenn and Alice (Wilhelm) Rager. Janet married Donald R. Terry. They lived in Chesaning for 40 years before moving to Higgins Lake in 2000. She was a loving wife and mother.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Donald; their daughter, Amber Degood of Cadillac; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Alice Rager of Paulding, Ohio; her sisters, Laura (Jim) Durre of Paulding, Ohio and Nancy (Brooks) Myers of Alabama; her brothers, David (Mary) Rager and Mark (Amy) Rager, all of Paulding, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Rager.
Visitation for Mrs. Terry will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Her funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Brother Terry Strickler officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 20 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Paulding Twp., Ohio.
