Jack Frederick Ackerman Obituary
Jack Frederick Ackerman of St. Charles Twp., age 62, passed away early Monday morning, June 24, 2019, at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw.
He was born in Saginaw on September 13, 1956, the son on the late Jack G. and Lorraine (Foster) Ackerman. Jack lived his entire life in the Chesaning area. He graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 1975. He was united in marriage to Susan A. Conley in Chesaning on May 17, 1986.
Jack was a truck driver and had worked for Meijer Transportation for over 20 years. He was a member of the Chesaning Area Conservation Club. He enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, playing cards, and road trips.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Susan; their loving daughters, Jennifer (Joseph) Hunter of Muskegon, Sarah Ackerman of Chesaning, and Emily Ackerman (and fiancé Kyle Gutkowski) of Chesaning; three special grandchildren, Damian, Aizza, and Alex Hunter; his siblings, Irene (Rick) Maciejeski, Nancy Ackerman, Rosemarie Eastham, Ellen Ackerman, David Ackerman, Donald (Donna) Ackerman, and Michael Ackerman; several nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Pastor John James will officiate at a memorial service that will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29. 2019, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. The family will be present to greet relatives and friends from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
