Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday evening, May 14, 2017, at the age of 59. His funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Mr. Tom Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow at the Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a Rosary Service being held at 7:00 p.m.
Gary was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 25, 1957, the son of Harold “Shorty” and Ruth Ann (Frasier) Angst. Gary graduated from Chesaning High School in the Class of 1975. He had worked in the maintenance department at Hehr Glass in Chesaning.
Gary enjoyed all sports, anything outdoors, and rock concerts. He was a huge Michigan fan and a NASCAR fan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ryan Angst (fiancée, Theresa Hebert) of Howell; his mother and stepfather, Ruth Ann Angst-Toma and Fred Toma; his sister, Kim (Jim) Turner of Owosso; his brother, Kurt (Kateri) Angst of St. Charles; many nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Jay Gross; and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Penny Nichols, in July of 2015, and his father, Harold “Shorty” Angst.
