Hornak, Frank Ronald – of Chesaning, age 74, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Concerned Country Care in Montrose. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning, Katherine Paul officiating. Family will receive family and friends on Sunday from 1PM until time of services at 6 PM. Private burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Maple Grove.
Ron was born August 21, 1943 in Owosso to the late Frank and Vivian (Prochozka) Hornak and was a resident of Chesaning his entire life. He retired from Chevrolet Mfg. and was a member of the UAW Local #659. He was known for his work on engines of sports machines.
Surviving are: longtime companion, Elaine Gorske; children: Pam Hornak of Traverse City, Sheryl (Richard) Hachenski of Traverse City, Rhonda (Kevin) Grinnell of Macomb County, and Craig Hornak of Wayland; four grandchildren: Jared, Jordan, Alexander and Connor; brother-in-law, Dick (Judy) Tithof of Chesaning; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: sisters, Martha Huff and Margaret Tithof; and a brother, Robert Hornak.
