Edward D. Jewell Obituary
Edward D. Jewell of Belmont, MI, age 77, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Ashley Care Center.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 24, 1941. Edward graduated from Rockford High School and was a US Army Veteran. He had previously lived in Grand Rapids before moving to Belmont. Before his retirement, he worked as a long-distance truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed his ’79 Harley motorcycle and his ’79 Corvette.
Mr. Jewell is survived by two sons, Edward Don Whyte (Jodi Sidor) of Sparta and Kirt (Merri) Whyte of Arizona; his grandchildren and two great-daughters; and other family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Committal services with US Army funeral honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly will be announced later.
