Cynthia Karren (Hafner) Cross

In loving memory of Cynthia Karren Cross who was an amazing woman.  She was a loving Nana, Mom, Aunt, Daughter, Wife, Sister, and Friend.  Cindy passed away Saturday morning, December 2, 2017, at the Chesaning Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center at age 65.  

Cynthia Karren Hafner was born June 23, 1952, in Saginaw, MI and she married Phillip Cross.  She lived her whole life in Chesaning, MI where she was dedicated to her family and friends.  A day didn’t go by where she wasn’t in constant contact with one or more of her loved ones

Cindy was a homemaker and had also worked as a Teller for PNC Bank.  She was an avid gardener, a creative crafter, and enjoyed solving puzzles and working on her prized cow collection.  She will be dearly missed.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Phil Cross; sons, Jason Coon (Jennifer Coon), Luke Coon (Natasha Coon), and John Coon (Felicia Fuller); daughters, Mona Cross, Shasta Cross, and Tasha Cross; her grandchildren, Davey Coon, Haley Coon, Jacoby Coon, Ian Coon, Oan Coon, Alyvia Cross, Devin Cross, Dillon Cross, Cody Cross, Nicole Cross, Mitchell Birchmeier, Andrew Birchmeier, and Alex Birchmeier; her Dad, Jerry Hafner (Janet Hafner); brothers, Rod Hafner (Betty Hafner) and Ed Hafner (Maggie Hafner); and other extended family and friends.  Cindy was preceded in death by her loving mother, Esther Buxman (Bob Buxman).

Visitation for Mrs. Cross will take place from 12 noon until 8:00 pm on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning.  A prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow.
