Curtis T. Vietti, Sr. Obituary
VIETTI, Curtis T. Sr. – of St. Charles, age 76, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at St. Mary’s of Michigan. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1 PM Monday, January 29, 2018, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Joe Henige officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in St. Charles. Family will receive relatives and friends from 2-8PM Sunday and from 12 Noon Monday until time of services at 1 PM. A parish rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Curtis was born October 15, 1941, in St. Charles to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Ciesinski) Vietti. He was united in marriage to Frances Bruske on December 20, 1980. Mr. Vietti retired from Saginaw Steering Gear in 1997. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the UAW Local #699. Curtis enjoyed singing, music, woodworking restoring old trucks and farm equipment and going to the casino.
He is survived by: wife, Frances; children: Curtis Jr. (Kristen) Vietti of Roscommon, Debbie (Rudy) Mosqueda of Saginaw, Mike Karpuk (fiancé Kay) of NC, Patty Alcorn (partner Mike) of Frankenmuth, and Elizabeth Vietti of Lansing; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings: Joe Vietti and Jerry (Karla) Vietti all of St. Charles, and Jack (Sue) Vietti of Chesaning; sister-in-law, Betty Kocher of St. Charles; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Vietti; and a sister, Shirley Vietti.
