Passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 29, 2017, at Memorial Healthcare of Owosso with her loving family at her side. She was 81 years old. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 3, 2017, at the Racy Free Methodist Church, 19983 West Brady Road (M-57), Elsie. Pastor John James will officiate. Burial will be later at the Gilmore Township Cemetery in Farwell.
Bonnie was born in Flint, Michigan on August 17, 1935. She was the daughter of James and Olga (Sharrer) Fox. Bonnie married Gerald H. Courter, Sr. on May 24, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1999. Mrs. Courter had worked as an Aide at the Chesaning Nursing Home many years ago. She enjoyed life and having fun with her niece, Rhonda.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Gerald Jr. and George, both of Brady Twp.; a daughter, Jeannie Sutter of St. Charles; three grandchildren, Stacy, Kim, and Jonnie Sutter; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Richard of Illinois; nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. Those who have passed before her include her parents; two brothers; two sisters; her beloved husband, Gerald, Sr.; and a son, Robert.
In lieu of flowers, contribution envelopes will be available at the church for those wanting to make charitable donations to the family.
