Constance Lee (Woodward) Paterson

PATERSON, Constance Lee – of Chesaning, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Chesaning Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 77 years of age.

Connie was born March 15, 1946, in Fresno, CA to the late Wren and Ada (Griffith) Woodward. She was a resident of Sanford for the past 15 years, coming from California. She married Reginald Paterson on July 25, 1991. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2015. Mrs. Paterson worked for many years at Kowalski Meats as a waitress at the dining counter. She had been studying Jehovah’s Witness. Connie enjoyed sewing, crafting, making blankets, crocheting, watching Westerns, going on road trips with her husband on their Harley Davidson and camping.

Surviving are: 2 sons: James Stevenson and Michael Wright,; brother, Richard Paterson; special nephew, Leni Higgins; several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter, Stephanie Stevenson in 1992.

No services are scheduled at this time. Inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery next to Reginald at a later date.
