Passed away suddenly Saturday Jan 26, 2013 as a result of a farming accident. Age 65. He was born August 28, 1947 in Owosso. His parents were Lloyd and Mary (Zubek) Potter. They have both passed away. Roy was a farmer. He was retired from GM where he had worked for 30 years. He married Susan Kay Beacham on Oct.1, 1966. She is left to mourn him. His children are: Gregory Potter (Leona Young) of New Lothrop, Shelly (Kevin) Indlekofer, Chesaning, Melissa (Daniel) Jenkins, Midland.
Grandkids: Krystal, Emily, Madison, Travis, Hunter, Melea, and a baby on the way.
Brothers and sisters: Charlie (Peggy) Potter, New Lothrop, Russell (Bernice) Potter,Morrice, Gerald (Judy) Potter, Flint, Lloyd Jr. (Shirley) Potter, Chesaning, Mildred Heminger, Morley,Mi. His sister Faye Timlick has passed away.
Numerous nieces nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will take place Wed. Jan.30 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Ray Strawser will officiate with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, New Lothrop.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday Jan 29 at the funeral home from 1-8 pm.

Dear Aunt Sue (shu-shu), I feel so sad for you at the passing of Uncle Roy. I know that you deeply loved him and he you! If you will lean on our Lord now he will help you with all of your grief. These are going to be tough days ahead for you and the your children and grandkids, but i know that God's arms are around you all and only he can trully bring you comfort. If i'm not there its because i couldn't get off work to come, i so want to be with you and give you a big hug. I'm so proud of all of you and your family. Please tell my cousins i'm so sorry for the passing of their father! Hopefully i'll come home in April or July and maybe i can spend some time with you. I only meet Roy a few times but could tell he was a loved man by all the family and friends that were around him. Im sure he will be sadly missed. Words can't express the sorrow I am feeling for yous. But know that are thoughs and prayers are of you at this time.

Roy and I went to Cantley School together. We used to walk home together and I always remember him as a kind and caring person. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I pray that God's support will help you through this difficult time and lead you to remember the good times your family all had with him.

We are so heartbroken for all of you. Roy was a "GREAT" man. Always, helping anyone and everyone all the time. He had a heart of gold.
