Passed away early Tuesday, July 31, 2012 age 90. A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, August 5 at 2:00 at the Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning. Brother Joseph Minarik will officiate. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. He was born in Maple Grove Twp. on Sept. 2, 1921. His parents were Nicholas and Cecelia (Gengler) Wenzlick. He served in the U.S. Army in W.W.ll, receiving a Purple Heart. He retired from Chevy Mfg., Flint. Skilled Trades. He loved gardening, wood working, antiquing, collecting stones, cooking and his cat Baby (Stinky)
Those left to mourn him include his wife Cecilia (Ringler). His Children: Marjorie Bloom, Frankenmuth, Ruthann Cornford, Saginaw, Barbara (Gary) Chant, St.Charles, Kathleen (Jim) Kozlowski, Boyne City, Harold (Rose) Wenzlick, Hutchinson, KS., Jane (Jon) Johnson, Ovid. Step Children: Christine Nelson, Benzonia, Joseph (Raeleen) Nelson,Owosso. Christopher Nelson, Avon, Ohio. Amy (Kevin) Witte, Elsie. 21 grandchildren, 52 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. His brother Donald Wenzlick and 2 sisters: Rita Klco and Marylou Kligar.
