Passed away Thursday afternoon, August 3, 2017, at age 94, at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.
Bill was born May 21, 1923, in Egham in the County of Surrey, England. He served in the English Royal Navy. Bill married his beloved Norah on April 1, 1944, and their family came to America in 1955. He had worked at the Western Auto Store in Chesaning for over twenty years. Bill and Norah were married for over 69 years before she preceded him in death on May 10, 2013. Together they enjoyed dancing and loved spending time with their grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his son, Robert (Jane) Huggins of Clarkston; two grandchildren, Halee (Dan) Sutton and Hayden Huggins; five great-grandchildren, Addison, Morgan, Ethan, Ella and Emmerson; and other loving family and friends. His three sisters have passed away before him.
