Shirley M. (Louch) Potter
Of Chesaning
Passed away Thursday morning, March 2, 2017, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso. She was 78 years old. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Rev. Ray Strawser will officiate. Her family will be present at the funeral home to welcome friends from Noon Saturday until time of the service.
Shirley was born July 25, 1938, in Saginaw County, the daughter of the late Delbert and Evelyn (Bredamus) Louch. She married Lloyd Potter Jr. on June 10, 1959. They were married for over 56 years before Jr. preceded her in death on October 14, 2015.
Shirley retired from the Shiawassee County MSU Extension office. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her two children, Doug Potter of Chesaning and Karlene Potter (Calvin Eaton) of Auburn; her two granddaughters, Joslin Potter of Chesaning and Rachele (John) Curry of Midland; four great-grandchildren, Ava, Addison, Jensen, and Jasper; a sister, Laura Quaderer; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Jr.
