Passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing at age 70. He has been cremated and no services are planned.
Richard was born November 5,1946, in Pennsylvania. He had worked 11 years for GM in Flint. He was then self employed in various ventures. He was a cornea donor.
Richard is survived by his wife Kathy (Barnes); his stepson, David Hammonds of Huntley, Illinois and his stepdaughter Laura (Bob) Clark of Zepher Hills, Florida; four step-grandchildren and eight great-step-grandchildren; and his brother, Jim Custer.
Memorials may be made to any Humane Society.
