Penny L. Nichols of Oakley, age 59, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, at Misiuk Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Woycik will officiate. Burial will follow at Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday until time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
Penny was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 29, 1955, the daughter of Bernard and Jane (Loper) Nichols. Penny graduated from St. Charles High School. She had worked at Hehr and Thompson Boats.
Penny is survived by her son, Chad Gross of Midland; granddaughter, Kenzie; companion, Gary Angst of Oakley; ex-husband, Melvin Gross; three sisters, Debbie (Pat) Harley of Brant, Sandy (John) Crawford of Burt, Carla (David) Hursh of Brant; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
