Passed away suddenly at her home Monday afternoon August 3, 2015, age 91. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Parish, Chesaning. Fr. William Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Misiuk Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday at the church until time of the Mass. A Rosary Service will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pauline was born in Caldwell, Ohio on February 26, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Zboran) Pavuk. She married Joseph F. Sedlar Sr. in Toledo, Ohio on July 18, 1942. She was a homemaker.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 73 years, Joseph Sedlar Sr.; eight children, Judy (Ron) Galley of Clarkston, Paulette (Jim) Bennett of Troy, Ohio, Joseph Jr. (Deana) Sedlar of Chesaning, James Sedlar of Traverse City, Joann Sedlar of Florida, John (Nancy) Sedlar of Florida, Jeffrey (Virginia) Sedlar of Howell, Jolene (Frank) Gentile of Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and a daughter, Barbara Sedlar.
