Passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso at the age of 73. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, January 18, 2016, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 133 Commercial St., Chesaning. Pastor Joel W. Thomford will officiate. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning and from 10:00 am Monday at the church until time of the funeral service.
Paul was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 12, 1943, the son of Matthew and Mary (Brainerd) Bleisner. He married Priscilla A. Walker at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fowler, MI on September 19, 1964. Paul was a farmer and also worked at the former Mid-West Machine Company of Owosso as an electrician. He was a former member of the Jaycees, a former board member of the Saginaw County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Chesaning Conservation Club, Michigan Soybean Association, and the Chesaning Golf League. Paul was a longtime member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and had actively served on many of its boards. He was an avid golfer and hunter and he enjoyed fishing and camping. Paul dearly loved his family and spoiling his grandchildren.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Priscilla; two children, Timothy (Rhonda) Bleisner of Oakley, Deborah (Gregory) Hill of Jenison; four grandchildren, Madison and Allyson Hill, Nicholaus and Jane Bleisner; a brother, William (Ruth Ann) Bleisner of Chesaning; four sisters, Elaine (Chuck) Sadilek of Chesaning, Joyce Collard of Owosso, Jean (Ron) Devereaux of Brant, Carol (Phil) Schmiege of Oakley; brother-in-law , Dick (Nazareth) Walker of Haines City, FL; sister-in-law, Helen Irrer of Lansing; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack.
