Passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 4, 2016.  He was 33 years old.  Nic was born December 26, 1982, in Saginaw.  His parents are Steve and Sue (Mahoney) Weigold of Chesaning.  Nic was a member of the Class of 2001, of Chesaning High School.  He played on the State Championship football team of 1998.  He graduated from S.V.S.U. and was a member of their football team.  He was employed by Jackson National Life Insurance of Okemos as a computer science / software engineer. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amanda (Martin), who he married on April 22, 2006, in Montrose and his precious daughter, Annabelle; his sister and brother-in-law, Sara (Matt) Reynolds of Ada, Mi.; his grandparents, Bob and Marion Weigold of Chesaning; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tom and Becky Martin of Chesaning; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Trisha (Jason) Turnwald of Chesaning; his four beautiful nieces, Halle and Caitlin Reynolds and Harper and Piper Turnwald; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Monday August 8, 2016, from 2:00-8:00 pm at The Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.  His funeral service will take place on Tuesday August 9, 2016, at 11:00 am at The Trinity United Methodist Church of Chesaning.  Katherine Paul will officiate with cremation to follow.  Nic's family will be present at the church to welcome friends from 10:00 am Tuesday until time of the funeral service.
