Nancy Lynne Lauro of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017, age 71, at Hurley Medical Center, Flint. She was born in Flint, Michigan on June 7, 1946, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy H. (Parsons) Aud. Nancy graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in the Class of 1964. She married Gerald C. “Jerry” Lauro on October 6, 1973.
Nancy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Owosso. She had worked as a secretary for Coons Insurance Agency in Owosso for many years. Nancy loved to go on bus trips while spending time with her husband, Jerry. She liked the bus trips to the casino and enjoyed going to garage sales, craft shows, flea markets, and also the Senior Center in Chesaning.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Jerry; their adopted son, Chad; her sister, Sharon (Richard) Day of Owosso; her brother, Duane (Pam) Aud of Davison; brothers-in-law, Joe (Sherry) Lauro of Owosso, Clem Lauro of Chesaning, and Dave Lauro of Owosso; sisters-in-law, Chris Yant of Ohio and Mary Lewis of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews who Nancy loved dearly; and other extended family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Dorothy Aud; and her sons, Allen and Mark Lauro.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in memory of Nancy to the Corunna High School Marching Band for their uniform fund. Make checks payable to the “Corunna Band Boosters”. Donations can be mailed to Corunna Band Boosters, 417 East King Street, Corunna, MI 48817.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
