Passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Age 88. Mabel has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Nelson United Methodist Church, 5950 S. Hemlock Road. Her family will be present at the church at Noon Saturday to welcome friends. A luncheon will follow the service.
Mabel was born in Brant, MI on March 15, 1927, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Valentine) Kinsey. She married Harold James "Jim" Lester. He passed away in 2002.
Left to mourn her loss are her children, Denny (Lynn) Lester of Brant and Sharon (Mitchell) Badders of Somerset, MI; a granddaughter, Alicia Badders; her brother, Jerry Kinsey of Bay City; and many nieces and nephews. Loved ones who passed away are her parents; husband, Jim Lester; and three brothers, Roy Kinsey, Don Kinsey, and John Kinsey.
