Louise V. (Leinweber) Davis

DAVIS, Louise V. – of Chesaning, age 84, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at Sunrise Senior Living in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Misiuk Funeral Home, 202 S. Front St. in Chesaning. Rev Norman Beckwith officiating. Burial will be in Pinora Twp. Cemetery, Reed City, MI. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 3-8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 am until time of services at 11am. Contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.

Louise was born in Lake County, Michigan on August 4, 1933 to the late Leslie and Ada (Schawe) Leinweber and was a resident of Chesaning most of her life. She was united in marriage to Ronald Davis on September 5, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2015. Louise earned her BA in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. She retired from Memorial Health Care. Louise enjoyed traveling, gardening, creating award winning recipes, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are: Brother, Larry (and his wife Claudia) Leinweber of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; 6 nieces and 3 nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ron and Roy Leinweber.
