I've already sent my condolences to Laurie's parents. her 2 sons and all her family and friends. This is to Laurie alone now: I'm so sad that you had to leave when you did and so unexpectedly. My heart hurts so much and the tears keep coming. I know you were worried about me but you also knew I was worried about you. I'm going to miss our daily "talks" and all the late night laughter. I think we were good for each other and I've never, ever had such a special and loving friend as you. I know God will take care of you and you won't have anymore pain but Heaven help me; I'll never stop missing you. Sometimes I wish I had gone with you but I know that's not my choice. Your Memorial Service is later today and oh how I wish I could be there. I hope you can see from Heaven how many people dearly loved you; I'm only one of many. I'll be praying for you at the start of your service and trying to say goodbye. I will see you in Heaven and as we talked about, hoping God doesn't mind a lot of laughter along with praises. I will always love you, think of you and miss you as long as I live. So long my little munchkin and best friend.

Mom and Dad- There are no words to express my sorrow and I am sure even fewer for you as you say goodbye to your baby girl. Laurie was a great sister to me and aunt to my children. Even far away in miles, never left a void in the heart. She was funny and strong-headed and always made me feel welcome with my children to the family. I will miss her for us, and really miss her for you all. Give my love to Duane and the boys. We love you all very much. Our hearts are with you and may you get some comfort.

Laurie was a very special lady. I've never known anyone quite like her. She had a very special gift of drawing people to her and making them feel good and appreciated. Anytime we talked to her we knew she cared and that we mattered to her. She was like a ray of sunshine in our lives and especially to my sister, Pat Powell. I will always be grateful for all the joy and laughter she brought to her. Laurie was so brave and positive hand a wonderful example of how to live life to the fullest. Please know that we are so sorry for your loss and we will keep your family in our prayers...and Laurie...we will never forget you!

My deepest condolences go to Laurie's parents, Robert and Gayle Tufts and her two sons, Daniel and Thomas as well as the rest of her family and friends. I can only imagine the pain you are going through but I do know mine. Laurie and I became best friends on Facebook about a year and a half ago. She so enriched my life and I could never thank her enough. I knew all about her illness but her passing was a shock to me and my heart is broken. I think God needed a special angel and He chose her. She so wanted to be around long enough to see both her boys grow up and the hurt they feel must be awful. I pray for them, her parents and all her family. Laurie and I had never met in person but that was planned for next month and my sister Linda and her husband Mike had also grown to love her and was looking forward to her and Daniel's visit. Laurie and I "talked" almost every day and late at night, we'd both get silly and make each other laugh until our tummy's hurt. We trusted each other almost from the beginning and could tell each other anything without being judged. I loved her and always will and will never forget her. She and I made plans to meet in Heaven and I know we'll have a big hug and pick up where we left off here on earth. I love you Laurie, my little munchkin.

Dearest Gary and William, Bob and Gayle, Duane and family, Dan and family,

There are no words we can express for comfort when losing a mother, child or sibling. The only grace we have is knowing that we will see them again by the grace of our Lord, Jesus. Until then the pain of missing them will always be in our hearts. May you know that Russ and I are loving each and everyone one of you and keeping you in our prayers. Russ and Karen Rhodes
