Kevin Michael Coss, age 45, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 19, 2016.
Kevin was born on June 6, 1970, in Owosso, Michigan. He resided in Brant, Michigan with his wife, Amy (Porter), whom he married on June 2, 2001. She survives him. Kevin worked as a wireless phone specialist for Verizon Wireless (Alltel, CenturyTel) for many, many years. He loved working with customers and he was a natural people person. He enjoyed attending his church, helping his father around the house and yard, watching movies and old TV shows, playing with the family’s dog and numerous cats, being outside enjoying nature, and being around home with his family. His dream was to build a log cabin after he retired. That will be built in heaven now instead of here on earth (Matthew 6:20).
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Amy; his two sons, Kevin Blain-Coss and Joshua Coss; his parents, Larry Coss Sr. of Freeland and Kristine Coss of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Larry (Rachel) Coss Jr. of Chesaning; sister, Pennie (Jay) Yugmang of Kansas City, Missouri; his close cousin, Scott Coss of Chesaning; sisters-in-law, Christine (Bill) Tarrant of Chesaning and Jennifer (Ben) Arbogast of Henderson; father-in-law, James Porter; mother-in-law, Lois (Jeff) Gould; and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan so they can research PNEA (Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Attacks), with which Kevin had been diagnosed.
Kevin has been cremated per his wishes. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the Chesaning Bible Baptist Church, 811 South Main Street, Chesaning. Pastor Walt Yeomans will officiate. His family will be at the church to receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of the service.
