Passed away Thursday evening, July 7, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Her family will be present to welcome friends from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Kathaleen was born in Chesaning, Michigan on June 12, 1945, the daughter of John and Helen (Tithof) Nietling. Kathaleen graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School in Chesaning. She married Jerry Brown and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jerry; their daughters, Stefanie (Kurt) Ferry of Oakley, Sally (Rick) Moore of Oakley; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Virginia Padowicz, Jean Lienau; and Diane (Mike) Koviack; and many nieces and nephews. Those who have passed before include her parents, John and Helen Nietling.
