Passed away Sunday evening, September 4, 2016, at Covenant HealthCare, Saginaw.  He was 80 years old.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at the St. Peter Parish Catholic Church, 404 S. Wood Street, Chesaning.  Fr. William Gruden will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery in Chesaning Twp.  Joe’s visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.  A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  His family will be present at the church to welcome friends from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of the Mass.

Joe was born July 25, 1936, the son of John and Rose (Hezena) Kligar.  He married Margaret Mikulcik.  She preceded him in death in February of 2013.  Joe had worked in battery production at Johnson Controls of Corunna.

Joe is survived by his five children, Angela Kligar of Owosso, Sharon Sanchez (Jerry) of Chesaning, Mary Cranmer (Chris Whitman) of Oakley, Pam (Ken) Spalding of Owosso, and Joseph Kligar Jr. of Chesaning; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Kligar (Maryann) of New Lothrop; nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Margaret; and a granddaughter, Trista Cranmer, in 2008; and his buddy, Frisky, the cat
