JoAnn Fortenberry of Montrose passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at her home. Age 85. She was born on July 27, 1932, in Selkirk, Michigan. Her parents were Joseph D. and Jennie (Duvekott) Hawley.

Those left to mourn her loss include her children, Patti (Duane) Linton of Montrose, Terry (Linda) Fortenberry of Montrose, and Mark Fortenberry of Flushing; her daughter-in-law, Kim Fortenberry of Montrose; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Those who have passed away include her husband, James (November 30, 2015), and her son, Brian (November 22, 2015).

JoAnn has been cremated. A private family committal service will be held later.
