Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the age of 88. Gerry was born in Saginaw on December 7, 1927, the daughter of William and Hazel Wesener. She married Robert C. Farlow on October 31, 1981. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2014. Gerry loved going to the casino, putting puzzles together, and her beloved cats, Pretty Boy and Freckles.
Gerry is survived by her sisters, Florence Plummer, Wilma Hinson, Pat Eaton, and Janice Wight; step-children and step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Dutch, Bill, Donald, Lloyd, Robert, and Kenneth; sisters, Hazel, Marge, and Jeanette; and her stepsons, Rusty and Dennis.
Gerry’s visitation and funeral service will both be held Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Her visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service at Noon. Elder Guy Bennett will officiate. Graveside services will follow at the Cook Cemetery in Taymouth Twp. at 4:00 p.m. that same day.
